Beach Club & Cellar Door Productions teamed up to promote "THE FLORRIDA WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL"
the largest Festival in Florida in the 1970's with a record sell out crowd of 60,000 fans at the Tangerine Bowl in
Orlando, Florida. The Concept originated from the 1978
"TEXXAS WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL" where concert
promoters wanted to duplicate the 1978
"CALIFORNIA JAM II" in Texas. Ted Nugent & Aerosmith were
headliners at every
"WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL" in Texas, California, Florida and Toronto, Canada.
The Florida World Music Festival featured a circus type atmosphere with rides and games along with a Rock &
Roll Super Market with vendors selling Novelties, Records and Rock & Roll Memorabilia. Around Midnight the
closing of the Festival featured a 20 minute Fireworks Extravagonzo !

When referring to this Festival you would be correct by calling it the :
"THE FLORRIDA WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL ", "ROCK SUPER BOWL VI"
or the "1979 FLORRIDA JAM".

There w
as a series of 3 North American  WORLD MUSIC FESTIVALS  in 1979. Ted Nugent & Aerosmith were
the headliners at all 3 festivals with various supporting acts at different venues.
The first and largest was held at the LA Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles, California on April 7 & 8, 1979. The
second festival was held at the Tangerine Bowl in Orlando, Florida on April 14, 1979. And the third festival was
held at the National Exhibition Stadium in Toronto, Canada on July 2, 1979.

Uniquely notice that all
3 festivals used DDouble letters for a Rock Solid name :
CALI
FFORNIA, FLORRIDA, CANADDIAN
