In 1978, a crowd 110.000 strong packed Mosport Park outside Toronto for the largest concert ever seen in Canada up to that time. Produced by the team that brought the Cal Jam concerts to Southern California, Canada Jam pulled in an estimated 2.5 million dollars. In between acts, the crowd was entertained by a motorbike hang-glider and parachute jumpers. Headliners TRIUMPH included a cover of “Rocky Mountain Way” The Canadian power trio closed the festival at 3:35 am.
